Okay, so you're stuck in front of your computer, but you'd rather be on a cruise. Which is probably why you're on this page to begin with. So, you've come to the right place.
Cruise through photos that we snapped on Princess Cruises, Celebrity, Cunard, Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line. And if you see something you like and want to see it first hand, just give us a call. In the meantime, Welcome aboard our virtual cruise. (and you don't even have to pack!)
RCCL Guests to Star on Explorer of the Seas
Royal Caribbean's "Invitation to Dance," the Explorer of the Seas's newest production show, will be featuring guests as stars . Created in conjunction with Louis van Amstel, choreographer for "Dancing with the Stars," and Cheryl Burke, two-time winner, "Invitation to Dance" brings the world of professional ballroom dancing to the high seas.
Now Explorer guests will have the chance to Rumba, Samba, Cha-Cha, Waltz or Swing their way to starring in the show and compete for the title of best ballroom dancers at sea
Early in the cruise, during an evening of ballroom dancing, four couples will receive an "Invitation to Dance" in the stage show. During the week, they'll work with Royal Caribbean's professional dancers, stylists and make-up artists and attend costume fittings as they prepare for their stage debut. Then its curtains up on an exciting evening in the spotlight as the dancing couples join the Royal Caribbean cast on stage and compete for the applause and support of their fellow guests. Explorer of the Seas sails year-round from Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, NJ, on five night Bermuda getaway cruises and nine-night Caribbean vacations.
TAKE YOUR HOBBIES ALONG Love to bowl?NCL's newest ship, the Norwegian Gem, has a "striking" innovation. Like its sister ship, the NCL Pearl, you can add bowling to your list of things to do at the four lane, ten-pin bowling alley. It’s part of Bliss; Sports bar by day with bowling, air hockey, foosball and televised sports and ultra-lounge by nightwith music videos, dancing and the night version of mood-lit bowling. If scrapbooking is more your style, Princess Cruises' ScholarShip@Sea program has added it on a growing list of courses which include cooking, computer skills, digital travel photography, web page design, watercolor and, a first in the industry, ceramics and pottery. For everyone who ever tuned in to a cooking show, Holland America Line offers their Culinary Arts program. Demonstrations and hands-on classes are presented by HAL's award-winning chefs, wine experts, guest chefs and leading cookbook authors from the pages of Food & Wine magazine. Sure, you can channel your inner performer at Passenger Talent Shows, but only the Queen Mary 2 offers Theater workshops presented by members of England's esteemed Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. And Cunard's new Queen Victoria is the first cruise ship to ever to give passengers the oppourtunity to learn the art of foil fencing. Pursue your passion or perhaps discover a new one on your next cruise. Just tell us what you'd like to do next!
PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS EXTENDED
Once again, the deadline for passports required to cruise has been extended indefinitely. Of course, passports always have been and still are required for travel from the U.S. to other countries.
Although we are recommending that all cruise passengers use a valid U.S. passport, valid for at least six months past your departure date, for now a valid driver's license and birth certificate will satisfy the requirements to board.
