ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE
When they first announed that they were adding an ice-skating rink, we were stunned and wondered how THAT would work on a cruise ship! Well, it did and Royal Caribbean's Voyager Class ships started a whole new wave, if you will, of thinking about cruises. And it wasn't just the rink, but the ice shows performed in them, the miniature golf, roller blading, and the rock-climbing wall that turned out to be such a big hit that it is now featured on every ship in Royal Caribbean's fleet.
When RCCL added another 100,000 tons for their history-making Oasis of the Seas (and a couple of more inches for her sister, the title-stealing Allure of the Seas), they didn't just keep the Rock-Climbing wall, they added a second one. You'll find them in the area as the Aqua-Theater (water ballet shows!), the two "Wave Rider" surf simulators and the world's first full-sized carousel at sea... that is just a couple decks below the zip-line. Yeah, ZIP LINE!!
RCCL would like you to get out there. To the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, Bermuda, Canada/New England... or just get onboard and spend your entire vacation exploring the ships!
